Announcing my picture book production

I’m leaping ahead and publishing my picture book, All the Queen’s Crowns.

Notice the dog in the illustration below. Surprise! My late dog, Sunny is in multiple book illustrations. He’s the king’s dog. My mentor, April Cox suggested adding Sunny to my book. The story is not about a dog, but he adds to the story just the same.

This announcement is part of my Self-Publishing Made Simple class assignment. My picture book is not a secret. It is something to be celebrated. I hope you enjoy this sample and the picture book that is to come. It will make a great Christmas gift.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm

A tale of exasperation

My life in a 50-word story. Watch to the end to see a guest appearance.

My life with my cats is always interesting, fun, and yes, sometimes exasperating.

They give me more writing subjects, which is better than being given a dead mouse.

Fun with a 50-word story

Don’t have time to listen to a whole book? Hopefully, you’ll have time to listen to another of my 50-word stories.

I’m happy when a subject jumps out at me as this one did. Now I have to do some real thinking as it’s time for me to write another column for the Wisconsin State Farmer. Those run about 650 words.

A little entertainment

Here’s a very short 50-word story for you today.

Writing even a little keeps my mind active.

The birds are thankful for the seeds I give them. My cats are happy I feed the birds.

Have a great day and stay safe.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.

A 50-word story about a kitten

I’m doing a microphone check today. It was a Christmas gift so I had to give it a try.

The story is about Barn-E, not Car-E.

Sorry, Barn-E. You are the rescued kitten in this story. A slip of the tongue.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.
