Wallpapering column

This column was written in April 1990. It tells why I won’t be wallpapering ever again.

I wonder if Rob remembers this chore I drafted him into when he was 15.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.

An April Fools story

This happened in the late 1960s.

It’s a story that reminds me of my Dad and his sister, Bea, and how much they teased each other all their lives. They teased, but they loved each other very much.

Tweeting today and every day

I was told to expect something in the mail, but not what would be coming.

This is the gift that arrived.

This gift keeps giving every hour on the hour, but not at night. The birds don’t chirp if it is dark.

Thank you to my sister, Karen, Mike, and Joyce. You made my day and many days to come.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.

With both feet

Here’s a 1990 column about home repairs. This time it was my project and not Bob’s

I remember some of the work done in our house. Mostly I remember being tired after working hard.

A little boy and a little cat

Rebecca and Andy brought little Charlie for a visit today. Charlie will turn 3 in a couple of weeks and he’s a ball of energy.

Charlie met his match today with my young cat, Barn-E.

Barn-E followed Charlie around my house.

But Barn-E didn’t always like it when the tables were turned.

Both took naps after Charlie’s visit ended.

It was a fun morning for all. I especially enjoyed being entertained by these two.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.
